Our philosophy of medicine, health, and healing is rooted in the following idea: that the natural state for any body is wellbeing. Given the right conditions, a body will return to a state of health. When symptoms occur, there is a reason. Many of the reasons that symptoms occur can be discovered and eliminated. When the causes of symptoms are removed the symptoms resolve. Likewise, when a burden is lifted from the body, it will naturally return to a healthy state. Dr. Philip W. Faler, BS, ND
Dr. Faler was born in 1975 and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, with his BS in Biology in 2000. Dr. Faler went on to graduate with a doctoral degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. He then spent 2 years studying under several physicians to gain experience and perspective on clinical practice and the needs of patients. He is a licensed primary care physician in the state of Washington and is in private practice in Spokane. He is interested in the study of medicine, medical philosophy, religion, spirituality, human consciousness, and nutrition, as well as quantum physics and anthropology. In his free time, Dr. Faler enjoys spending time with his wife, their 2 children, Liam and Mayah, and their devoted dog, Fudge. He also enjoys the outdoors and playing music.

Susan Schippman, RN
Susan is a registered nurse with 15 years of experience. She is kind enough to serve our patients in many ways. She is at the front desk, handles the phones, works with patients to ensure their needs have been met, takes vitals, and much more. She does all of this while she is pursuing her ARNP with a specialty in family medicine. Susan plans to begin private practice
in 2012. We are proud to have her on our team!
