Dr. Philip W. Faler, BS, ND

Dr Faler enjoys spending time with his patients. He focuses his initial visit on listening to the patient in order to gain a full understanding of what they are experiencing. He then will do a comprehenssive physical exam and order any appropriate lab work or imaging. With that information Dr Faler will offer the patient an integrative plan for their conditon. The plan may include recomended reading, nutritional changes, body work, medications, nutritional suplements or a refferal to another provider.

Dr. Faler works with many patients with andropause, menopause, thyroid conditions, digestive problems, anxiety, patients with neck and back pain who want to get well, patients with fatigue and many other conditions. Dr Faler offer a weight loss program that is both effective and safe.

Dr Faler Was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. He recieved his BS in Biology from East Stroudsburg University in 2000 and went on to recieve his doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine in 2005, He has been in Practice in Spokane since 2006.

In his free time, Dr. Faler enjoys spending time with his wife, their 2 children and their devoted dog. He also enjoys the outdoors, geology and playing music.

Amy Hiestand ARNP

Amy J. Hiestand, MSN, ARNP, BC. Enjoys guiding patients through the health care process and supporting a patient's needs including, women and men's general health and physicals, children's well exams, immunization schedules, alternatives and sports physicals, family planning directions and alternatives, dietary guidance, hormone balancing, small surgical procedures, medication management, referrals and all other general care assistance.

She is dedicated to patient care, health and wellness and is happy to be a part of the Wholey Healing office. Amy was born and raised in Montana, moved to Spokane in 1994, where she finished her RN degree, she had 12 years of patient care in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Case Management, Management, Education, Trauma Services, Family Planning, Home Care and Interventional Medical Research.

In 2006, she finished her MSN, FNP from Gonzaga University. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a extern ship specializing in Emergency and Critical Care. She works in the Emergency Department at Sacred Heart Medical Center as an ARNP and also in family practice. She enjoys her 2 boys, spending time at their cabin in Montana, fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, telemark skiing, gardening and camping.

Susan Schippman, RN Susan is a registered nurse with 15 years of experience. She is kind enough to serve our patients in many ways. She is at the front desk, handles the phones, works with patients to ensure their needs have been met, takes vitals, and much more. She does all of this while she is pursuing her ARNP with a specialty in family medicine. Susan plans to begin private practice in 2012. We are proud to have her on our team!
